A story of enduring love between Leonard Cohen and his Norwegian muse, Marianne Ihlen. Filmmaker Nick Broomfield chronicles their relationship, from the early days in Greece to how their love evolved when Leonard became a successful musician.

 

On the Basis of Sex

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a struggling attorney and new mother who faces adversity and numerous obstacles in her fight for equal rights. When Ruth takes on a groundbreaking tax case with her husband, attorney Martin Ginsburg, she knows it could change the direction of her career and the way the courts view gender discrimination.

Councilwoman

Councilwoman is an inspiring and informational documentary that serves both as record and template for what politics and politicians can look like in 2019. Featuring panel with special guest and film subject, Providence Councilmember Carmen Castillo with Oxnard City Councilmember, Carmen Ramirez.

Maze

March 19th, 7:30 pm

Inspired by the true story of the escape by 38 IRA prisoners from the notorious Maze Prison in 1983 (which left one prison officer dead and others seriously injured), Maze is a post-hunger strike narrative which eschews jailbreak high-jinx in favor of intense character-driven drama.

Under the Clock

March 16th, 7:30 pm

Under The Clock tells the fascinating stories of a whole generation of people from all over Ireland whose relationships began under one of Ireland's most iconic landmarks, the Clerys clock.
